In our late 20s, there’s nothing more important than preventing the aging process and reversing the damage we have done to our poor skin from our days in the tanning bed. The experts say that this is the time to do it, and we’re not going to fight them on it. That being said, we have experienced skin care treatments from esteemed estheticians all over the country, but have never experienced anything like the facial we received from Leslie Fasulo. Belly Love has brought Leslie on as their newest expert esthetician, and we couldn’t be more grateful for her presence at the spa.
As most of you know Lindsey is the PR Director at Belly Love, so she has the opportunity pick Leslie’s mind on a daily basis. With years of traveling the world and testing skin care products and treatments, it’s safe to say that we will believe anything that comes out of Leslie’s mouth. It wasn’t until we received a facial from her, when Leslie was able to truly put her money where her mouth is. As someone who majored in creative writing in college, Lindsey was absolutely speechless.
Seriously, words cannot describe how unbelievable this facial was. We can all agree that facials can be pleasant, but they don’t give the outer-body relaxation feeling that comes with a good massage, except when you experience a facial with Leslie. Her massage technique left us unable to remember where we were, what we were doing, and how painful the extractions were (which we’ll get to in a second). Were we drunk, impaired, or just feeling absolutely amazing? Anything is possible, we were in a complete state of euphoria.
Extractions are SO necessary, but never a pleasant experience. There have been times we have received facials where the estheticians clearly didn’t want to cause pain and discomfort through extractions, but what’s the point of a facial then? Leslie takes no prisoners when she squeezes out those blackheads. When her tools come out, hold the bed, grit your teeth, and embrace the pain. This episode lasts all of 5 minutes at the most, and for the sake of beautiful clear skin, you should be able to take it. The remaining time with Leslie more than makes up for a couple minutes of necessary discomfort.
One of the things we dread most after a facial is an esthetician trying to push expensive products on us. We completely trust Leslie’s judgement and recommendations on products that will be best for our skin, not cost us the most money. Based off her recommendations, we have been using the skincare line, Sothys for the past month and couldn’t be happier with the outcome. We both have such different skin types, and this line had more than enough products for the both of us.
We are firm believers that when you find someone like Leslie, you stick with her, and never look back. It’s safe to say that she will have two clients out of Lindsey & Lilly for life. After just one session with her our skin is as radiant and clear as a blank canvas. It’s never been so easy to walk out of the house without a stitch of makeup on.
