This Makeover Monday features LLScene DIY beauty secrests! At this point in our lives, we are pretty lucky to have a solid group of true girlfriends. Seriously, do you know how rare it is to have 15 girls in your life that you can genuinely love and trust? That being said, we are always grateful for the friends like Megan Borgese for creatively throwing themed parties over champagne…lots of champagne.
The first annual DIY Beauty Summer Soiree consisted of 15 gorgeous ‘20 somethings’ sharing their secrets to DIY beauty! After this party, we can all rest assured that aging won’t be apart of LLScene’s future.
Mix 2 egg yolks with 2 tbsp of olive oil, dilute the mixture by adding a cup of water, and then slowly and thoroughly massage this mask into your scalp. Give your hair and scalp 15 to 20 minutes to absorb all the needed nutrients and then rinse.
Say Goodbye to Cellulite (really!)
Mix 1/4 cup of ground coffee, 3 tablespoons of hot water, and 2 tablespoons of olive oil to help bind the grinds. This will make it easier to spread on, and offer extra moisturizing effects.Cleanse problem areas in a warm shower, then turn off the water and apply the scrub by massaging in a circular motion for 2-4 minutes with your hands or a washcloth. Rinse with warm water to remove all grounds, then pat dry and moisturize if desired.
Less ‘Ouch’ Pre-Wax Regimen
After cleansing your skin, sprinkle a bit of baby powder to the area about to be waxed. It’ll absorb any excess moisture so the wax and cloth strip adhere to the wax, not your skin.
